- Officially, our team consists of one person, Steve Larson-Jackson, the majority shareholder of the company. He is the guy who negotiates the contracts, travels to Ghana to be "hands on" with each transaction and solves problems as they develop. Mr. Larson-Jackson is a member of the following bars: The United States Supreme Court Bar; DC Bar, Maryland Bar and Florida Bar. He earned an LLM degree in Securities Regulations in 1989 from Georgetown University Law School. He has employed a confluence of his knowledge of the securities and commodities industries with every day experiences of trading gold on the ground in West Africa. There are no written primers, video's or webinars for trading gold on the ground. One must learn by doing.
- There are other people on our team, even though they are not officers, directors or employees of the corporation. We have two individuals from the greater Chicago area . Both of whom have solid backgrounds in the real estate industry. One of the two has solid knowledge and experience in West Africa. He is also flexible and as circumstances warrant, he will travel to West Africa. Our remaining U.S. based team member is a person who started out as a high school wrestling coach, then he be became a mortgage banker and has more than ten years in the area of mortgages and finance. He is also very helpful when it comes to contracts and the small details that can make a transaction successful or a failure. We have several team members on the ground in Ghana that work with us. Those members consists of a security team and an operational team. The security team is critically important for defense and protection. Our security teams is not always visible, but they are always present. The security team is comprised of individuals who are former military, with national security backgrounds, and covert operations activities.
- Our operational team is equally important. Although English is the official language of Ghana, there are two major local languages, "Twi" and "Gha" that are widely spoken as well as other languages such as Housa, Fante and Eurwei. Our operational teams are helpful with many of the indigenous languages and cultural issues that may not be obvious to Americans. Managing and balancing cultural factors, logistics, security and the technical aspects of the gold market simultaneously are all necessary to be a successful gold trader. We will place our teams up against any other team charged with similar responsibilities.
